Marielle Ousset obtained her PhD in Cancerology from Toulouse III University (France) in 2010. She then performed a postdoc in the laboratory of Pr Blanpain (Belgium) where she studied epithelial cell origin, heterogeneity and lineage hierarchies using in vivo lineage tracing in transgenic mice models, combined to mathematical modeling. She has been recruited as CNRS researcher in 2017. Her research focuses on cellular basis of tissue regeneration.
