Selma Ben Hammamia-Ouni holds a Master’s degree in Bioengineering in Human Health from Paul Sabatier University (Toulouse III, France). Her Master’s internship, conducted at STROMALab in collaboration with the imaging platform at ITAV and Professor Philippe Kémoun, focused on 3D tissue engineering approaches using mesenchymal stromal cells for periodontal regeneration. In June 2021, she joined the RESTORE institute on a collaborative project with LVMH Research, investigating healthy aging through research on human skin biopsies and derived cells. In October 2024, she began her CIFRE PhD thesis with RESTORE and LVMH-R, with the goal of developing a novel 3D in vitro model of the dermis to investigate the link between cellular resistance to various challenges and individual frailty
