Building intestinal tissue using human pluripotent stem cells
The team Dr MAHÉ leads tries to create integrated human gut models derived from human pluripotent stem cells. His group uses these models with complex environmental cues, including mechanics and luminal factors (microbiota, nutrients). His group builds on these models to elucidate novel functions and mechanisms of the enteric nervous system (ENS) in regulating intestinal development and niche formation.
