My thesis focuses on the role of adipocyte haptoglobin on muscle remodeling associated with aging. We use different strategies to study its role: pharmacological strategy (subcutaneous injection) and strategies to increase its expression specifically in adipose tissue (AAV). After functional analysis, we also carry out morphology, transcriptomic and proteomic studies.
