Research interests

I’m a researcher originating from veterinay medicine. For 10 years my scope of research was the integrated physiology of adipose tissue, from obesity to lipodystrophy and their associated metabolic disorders. Through the use of several transgenic mouse models and adipocytes in vitro models I studied the consequences of the deregulation of energy balance and fatty acids fluxes. More recently I explored adipose tissue beyonds its metabolics properties, with a focus on the role endogenous adipose stromal cells mobilization in fat ectopic deposition and distant skeletal muscle regeneration.
